According to an Israeli spokesman, Israel has decided to ban Democratic Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar from entering the country.
The announcement comes shortly after this tweet from President Trump saying Israel would be showing great weakness by allowing them to enter the country.
Tlaib and Omar, who have been vocal critics of Israel, planned to visit one of the holiest and most sensitive sites in Jerusalem.
The site is known to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif and to Jewish people as the Temple Mount.
The two lawmakers had refused to be escorted by Israeli security while visiting the site.
The Congresswomen planned to meet with Israeli and Palestinian peace activists and representatives of human rights organizations.
