In addition to tornadoes in the Midwest, now wildfires are scorching parts of Florida.
The state’s forest service reports there are 66 active wildfires currently burning.
Officials say more than 90 percent of the blazes are classified as 100 percent contained.
The forecast fire danger indices over much of Florida is listed as moderate to high.
Two counties in Metro Jacksonville are listed is very high.
The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has also issued a dense smoke advisory in the area.
Visibility will be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less.
