The month of May is peak tornado season.
And those living in the central part of the US are getting hit with dozens of them.
There have been reports of 34 tornadoes in Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma since Friday.
Parts of Texas and Oklahoma remain under a tornado watch.
Unfortunately another round of severe weather is moving in next week, bringing heavy rain, tennis ball-sized hail, damaging winds and flash flooding.
Forecasters say more than 70 million Americans from Texas to southern Minnesota are under the threat of severe weather.
That total jumps to 80 million as the storm moves into the Great Lakes.
As always we encourage anyone living in the path of the storms to stay alert, be prepared and be safe.
