The same torrential rains that hit California earlier this week are headed to the central part of the country this weekend.
Forecasters say the severe weather will affect two thirds of the country and more than 50 million people.
The storm brings the threat of tornadoes, hail the size of tennis balls and damaging winds that could last into the middle of next week.
Forecasters say the most significant threat for tornadoes will be across Central Nebraska.
But the storms will likely affect Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma City, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan as well.
If you live in these areas, please exercise caution and be prepared, especially in those areas prone to flash flooding due to the ground being oversaturated from previous storms.
