The race for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020 keeps getting bigger.
The latest candidate to throw their hat into the ring is New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio.
DeBlasio was first elected New York City’s mayor in 2013 and was reelected to a second term four years later.
Before that, he was a member of the New York City Council and served as the city’s public advocate.
DeBlasio is now the 23rd major candidate seeking the Democratic presidential nod in 2020.
