19-year-old Dakota Johnson, who suffered with an aggressive form of muscular dystrophy, fulfilled his dream of graduating high school Wednesday.
Dakota has attended school from home since seventh grade.
But for his senior year he told his teacher he wanted to be part of the graduation ceremony.
But just before graduation, he was admitted to the hospital with heart failure, so his school brought the graduation to him.
Johnson donned the cap and gown in his hospital bed and posed for pictures with family and friends.
Two days later, Johnson died.
His grandmother says she believes it was a happiest day of his life.
