Last night HBO aired part one of its four-part documentary “Leaving Neverland.”
Viewers heard graphic testimony from Wade Robson and James Safechuck, two men who accuse pop star Michael Jackson of sexually abusing them in the late 80s and early 90s when they were children.
Supporters of Jackson immediately started tweeting with the hashtag #MJinnocent.
Many say the documentary lacked evidence.
Others condemned it because Jackson is not here to defend himself.
Jackson died from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol in 2009.
However there were some viewers who say the accusations against Jackson are unforgivable and they plan to boycott his music.
Jackson’s family deny the allegations and is suing HBO over the documentary.
They called it a “public lynching” and called the two accusers “admitted liars.”
