Grocery store shelves are completely bare in Washington State as people braced for a second record-breaking snowstorm this week.
One person described the scene at the store as “apocalyptic-type” chaos.
It took 45 minutes to park and another 20 minutes just to find a shopping cart and lines were so long, it took two hours to check out.
Up to 8 inches of snow is expected to blanket the area, which is way more than the average of 7 inches they are used to seeing in an entire year.
The governor has already declared a state of emergency.
