A Fly Jamaica passenger airliner enroute to Toronto, Canada crash landed in Guyana, injuring several people on the flight.
Right now, there are no reports of any deaths.
According to officials at a press conference yesterday, the aircraft veered off the runway causing extensive damage to the engine and other parts.
Operations at the airport were suspended for a few hours but things are back to normal.
Officials also advised that the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder were secured and that the US National Transportation Safety Board will be assisting in the investigation.
