Friday, in Detroit, at Perry Funeral Home police say they found improperly kept remains of fetuses and infants.
Police and license inspectors found the remains of 63 fetuses and/or infants.
Police say the bodies were found in un-refrigerated boxes. Some were found in a freezer.
Please say some of the remains are at least three years old.
Police also found bodies of infants and stillborns at a second funeral home in Detroit earlier this week.
Investigators raided the funeral home after a complaint by the Michigan Department of licensing.
The funeral home’s license was previously suspended due to multiple code violations.
Police have not filed any charges but are continuing to investigate.
